About The Internship

The Internship is designed to surface the very best of candidates out of a large pool of participants. It is fast paced and challenging, and helps people learn how to work in teams, deal with pressure and quickly expand their knowledge.

Who Should Apply

Anybody can apply. The Internship itself focuses on participants with prior experience either by going through the training phase, or self learning. However, if you have no prior experience, we still encourage you to apply you'll learn a lot from the experience.

These are the tracks available in the Internship

Frontend Development

In our client side track, participants are required to have prior knowledge of basic web languages, and most popular frameworks and libraries

HTML | CSS | JavaScript | ReactJS

Backend Development

Our backend consist of industry most popular languages. This allows you explore your options and makes it easier for you to get your dream job.

NodeJS | PHP | Go | Python

UI/UX Design

We only allow a very limited number of participants join the UI/UX track. However, you'll get a chance to switch to another track mid program

We do cross platform development using Flutter. You should already have basic skills and the computer to develop mobile applications

Digital Marketing

The digital marketing track has very little design and no coding at all, but participants will be required to show results.

What is Zuri Internship all about?

A Remote internship that enables you learn and improve your skills by working on real-world projects

I don't see digital marketting as a track while registering for the internship?

Digital marketing is not a stand-alone, we expect those interested in digital marketing to still do other things, so you can choose any of the tracks, and after the program starts you'll get more information on how to join the DM team - the same applies to DevOps

What Benefits can I get from the internship?

Benefits upon completion include access to Zuri network comprising of past finalists, improving your portfolio (via the product/project you worked on), access to job opportunities and occasional stipends depending on performance during the internship

How long does the internship last?

About 3 months.

Will I be employed by Zuri upon completion of the internship?

You will be added to our network of talent, and recommended to potential employers

Will mentors be available for physical mentorship?

Meetups will be held where mentors around your region will be available to answer to any question.

Do I get to have a personal mentor?

Mentors can be contacted privately for guidance during the internship.

How often do we build new projects?

Every week new projects are assigned to interns as tasks to complete and present to be promoted to the next stage.
